Full Custom is our bespoke program: an original design created only for your company, institution or family, and never sold to anyone else.
Every line in a Mati design has a reason to be there. There are no purely decorative motifs. Your founding year, your place, your industry and your values become a set of symbols, and those symbols become a pattern that can be read, like a story told in silk.
The process
1. Story. We begin with research and a conversation: your history, your origins, the people and places behind your name, and what you want your guests to feel.
2. Symbols. We translate that story into a small set of symbols and draw a key that explains each one.
3. Pattern. The symbols are composed into a pattern, often a kaleidoscopic composition built around your mark: your mark + symbol + symbol + symbol = your pattern.
4. Color and refinement. We develop the palette and details with you, with rounds of revisions until it is right.
5. Production. Your design is produced on silk scarves and can extend to pocket squares, pillowcases, table runners, notebooks or a gift set chosen for your audience.
6. The story card. Every gift arrives in a Mati box with a card that explains the design, so the person receiving it knows exactly what they are holding.
